Your faith has eyes.
Right now, we are in a situation where our flesh, if we’re not careful, is ruling our eyesight. The Bible says we walk by faith and not by sight. The “sight” that the Bible is referring to is really the flesh. Our flesh can only see so far into the future. Whether it’s the next few days, few weeks, or few months, the eyes of our flesh only have the capacity to take in what is under our control.
The government, our schedules, and our plans, our health, our incomes and job security; These are the things that our flesh has eyesight for.
But your faith has eyes that are completely different from your flesh! Faith has the ability to see not just a few days or weeks into the future, but see things nobody else can see yet. Faith has the ability to look five years, ten years, and even 50 years down the road.
Your faith has eyes to not just see your children as young children, but as adults and what their lives might look when they grow up. It can even see your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Faith has the ability to be multi-generational.
Sight by faith comes from a different place that is not from our flesh or our brain. Our brain creates the fleshly eyes in the things we see, manage, and monitor (like bank accounts, bills and life). That’s all coming from the brain. We’re processing and leaning on our own strength, intelligence, education, etc, but faith comes from a completely different place called the Spirit.
To access your faith eyes, you’ve got to be in the Spirit and that only comes by seeking God, by reading His word and by praying.
The simplicity that I’ve learned in over 20 years of ministry and as a third-generation pastor and preacher is this: if I am not on my knees daily spending time with the Lord, my faith is not as alive.
When I’m spending time with God, spending time in prayer, spending time in reading the Word, my spirit comes ALIVE. Your Spirit comes ALIVE. Every time you do these things. Your spirit becomes awakened and your eyes open.
It’s wild because when you live your life with your faith eyes, all of a sudden, you’re not so worried about the next few days and weeks because the Lord is speaking COMFORT into your life. The Holy Spirit is saying “Hey, I’ve called you to do this.”
When we’re in faith and we’re in prayer, the spirit realm opens our faith eyes and, all of a sudden, you’re not so worried about a temporary setback.
The Bible talks about how the trials of this world are temporary and fleeting. We’re so worried about Coronavirus right now, but can I tell you, a year from now, we will not be worried about this? We’ll be worried about something else.
But can I just share with you what faith eyes are opening for my life right now? I’m seeing (even this year), that there is a mighty incredible unprecedented REVIVAL that is getting ready to hit the World! It is going to hit America! It’s going to hit Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America!
I believe that Satan is operating right now through fear and panic, but the Bible says that God turns everything around for good for those who love Him, serve Him, and seek Him, so I know that God can take any tragedy and bring life out of it.
There’s a great revival coming! Your life is a part of that, because there’s a revival for your life. There’s blessing for your life! You might be worried, but can I ask you to do something? Pray today. Ask God to open up your faith. We are temporary, but He is eternal. We are natural, but He is supernatural.
Seek the Lord. Today. Right now. Many of us are still stuck in our homes due to the virus, so there are no exceptions. Everybody in the whole Earth is going through this right now.
I want to challenge you. If you are seeing only with your fleshly eyes right now, and you’re discouraged, turn to the Lord right now. Get on your knees. Pray. Get up early in the morning. That’s what I’ve been doing with my wife. Spend time with the Lord every day.
God will open your eyes. He will reveal to you things that no other person can see. A mighty wave of healing is coming. Miracles are coming. It is on the way. When all of the quarantines end and everything goes relatively back to normal, there’s going to be a harvest available. There’s going to be desperation in people’s hearts.
And I believe the Lord is actually going to use this for one of the greatest setups for revival to hit this Earth.
God’s got everything under control. Don’t just look at the temporary. Our faith has eyes and your faith has eyes.
Be led by FAITH and not by SIGHT.
